Crafty in Christian County: Book Wreath

Each month, we offer a new craft class to Christian County Library patrons. In November, learn to repurpose old books and create a beautiful wreath to decorate your home for the coming holidays with library circulation assistant and crafter Pam Cox. A History of the Ozark Mill With Wayne Glenn

Location: Netzer Room, Christian County Library

Located southeast of the Christian County Library, the Ozark Mill is one of the iconic landmarks of Christian County. Local historian and radio personality Wayne Glenn will discuss the history of the mill site and its various owners. No registration required.

Books like Heaven is for Real and 90 Minutes in Heaven have intrigued readers for years. Author Rick East had his own experience with heaven after a mysterious illness caused him to lapse into respiratory failure the afternoon of December 25, 2012. Rick saw the city of heaven and had many conversations with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit answered questions that have puzzled Christians for years. Birds of the Ozarks and Beyond

In this program you will see photographs and hear sounds of common and uncommon birds of the Ozarks.  Bird watching and bird feeding will also be discussed.  The De Jongs have volunteered at National Wildlife Refuges in several parts of the U.S., and the program will include some of the birds and wildlife photographed at these refuges.  A few birds from the Galapagos Islands will also appear.  Time permitting, we will discuss volunteering at National Wildlife Refuges. Attend Library Programs for Adults – Get Prize Entries

Attend any or all of our special programs for adults in June and July. Each program you attend counts as one entry for prizes. Space is limited, so please register for programs in advance.
Event details will be released on May 1st.
Registration for summer program events will begin three weeks before each session.


All winners will be chosen by random drawing from eligible entries.
Library staff will contact you if you are a prize winner.
Winners of weekly prizes will be eligible to win the grand prize.

Must be 18 or older to win.
